Conversations with Stones explores the landscape of Rougher, the highest point in Cornwall based on Bodmin Moor. Experiencing the landscape, I use the process of frottage to demonstrate the language of these rocks, existing here for over 1,000 years forming naturally as the softer elements of the landscape erode away.
Exposed at great heights, these rocks are weathered, existing among Bronze Age hut circles, demonstrating an existence before us. How can I demonstrate this history without taking from the landscape
